General
What is FriendBeacon?
FriendBeacon is a community for people exploring the meeting point between the metaphysical, the spiritual, independent research, open-source building, and future-facing tools. The site connects groups, activity, discoveries, marketplace products, and member profiles into one network.
Where should a new visitor start?
Start with the Groups page if you want community, the Activity feed if you want the live pulse, or the Community Market if you want tools, files, kits, and products.
Profiles and accounts
How do users update their profile?
Logged-in members can use the profile menu in the top navigation to update profile info, account settings, profile settings, avatar, and password. A strong profile helps other members understand your interests, skills, and research direction.
What should members add to their profile?
Add the topics you care about, what you are building or studying, and what kind of collaboration you are open to. FriendBeacon works best when profiles help people find aligned builders, seekers, and researchers.
Where do users manage account access?
Use the account options in the logged-in profile menu for login details, password changes, privacy choices, and profile settings. Membership billing and subscription details live in the Membership Account area.
Groups and activity
How do groups work?
Groups are focused signal rooms around topics like Nikola Tesla, open-source projects, cymatics, consciousness, energy research, and spiritual science. Visit Groups, choose a group, and join the conversations that match your path.
How do users share posts or updates?
The Activity feed is the live community stream. Members can post updates, share discoveries, respond to others, and help keep the network moving.
Vendorship
Who can become a shop vendor?
FriendBeacon is a good fit for creators offering experimental tools, educational guides, books, STL files, research resources, kits, apparel, spiritual-tech products, or builder-focused supplies. Vendor approval should prioritize quality, clarity, safety, and alignment with the mission.
How does someone apply or prepare to sell?
Prospective vendors should prepare clear product photos, honest descriptions, pricing, fulfillment details, and safety notes. Start from the Vendors area or the Vendor Dashboard if your account already has vendor access.
What makes a strong vendor listing?
A strong listing explains what the product is, who it helps, what is included, how it should be used, and any important disclaimers. Clear images and grounded claims build trust.
Subscriber tiers
What are subscriber tiers for?
Subscriber tiers can organize access to member benefits, community areas, special resources, or future premium experiences. Members can review their current status from the Membership Account page.
How can users change or cancel a membership?
Membership billing, invoices, cancellations, and account-level access are handled through the membership account pages. If a user is unsure, they should check Membership Account first and contact support if something looks wrong.
Are shop purchases the same as memberships?
No. A shop purchase is a product order or digital download. A membership or subscriber tier controls account access or benefits. A user can have one without necessarily having the other.
Shop and orders
Where do users find products?
Products live in the Community Market. It includes tools, digital files, books, kits, experimental products, and creator gear.
How are digital downloads handled?
Digital products should appear through the order/account flow after purchase. Users should keep their account email current so receipts and download access are easy to find.
Safety and research
Are experimental devices and research claims guaranteed?
No. FriendBeacon encourages curiosity and independent investigation, but users should treat experimental information responsibly. Products, research posts, and group discussions should not be taken as medical, legal, electrical, or financial advice.
How should users approach experiments?
Use common sense, follow laws and safety practices, understand electrical and chemical risks, and ask qualified professionals when needed. The goal is empowered discovery, not careless risk.
