Description
Build a hands-on Maxwell displacement-current experiment with this single-piece, print-ready demonstrator chassis. The model provides a flat 75 x 75 mm base, two 60 x 60 mm upright carrier walls, a 65 mm clear carrier gap, and eight 3.2 mm through-bores for M3 hardware and compatible brass inserts.
Your download includes:
– High-resolution binary STL for the one-piece chassis
– 2400 x 1800 product preview
– README with print and assembly guidance
– Engineering report with dimensions, assumptions, and first-principles checks
– Fusion geometry inventory for reference
Printing guidance:
– Import at 100% scale and confirm 75 x 75 x 73.1 mm
– Place the flat underside directly on the build plate
– PETG starting point: 0.20 mm layers, 4 walls, 5 bottom layers, and 20-30% gyroid infill
– Use a 5-8 mm brim if your material tends to warp
– Print an insert-fit coupon before installing brass inserts
This download contains the printable chassis package only. Aluminum plates, inserts, screws, electronics, and other experiment hardware are not included.
Safety: This is an educational prototype chassis, not a certified electrical enclosure. Validate voltage, waveform, insulation, creepage, clearance, stored energy, discharge protection, and accessible-metal safety before energizing conductive plates.
